Wilber Gives Back

We decided to start a ‘Wilber Gives Back’ program. We had our first outing in November 2010. We were able to go to the Home Sweet Home mission and serve lunch. Over 20 people showed up to volunteer. It was a great opportunity for us to be able to serve others in our community. Ken donated all of the food for that lunch, and we were able to feed around 75 people. It was very exciting to get to know some of the people that live and work at the mission. It was a lot of fun working in the kitchen together. We were able to cook and serve food, clean up, wash dishes, mop floors, clear and wipe tables, and some of the guys were even able to help unload some trucks.
